Elemental Mode Overview
The Elemental Mode was added to Idle Miner Tycoon with version 4.30.0. It introduces the Elemental Continents to the game that require new strategies for using your Super Managers as their effectiveness is affected by their Elemental Affinities.

Version 4.30.0 introduced the Elemental Mode and with it various new features:
Unlock and Access Elemental Mode[]
Once you progress far enough in the first Main Continents there will be two buttons at the top of the World Map - Main Mode and Elemental Mode. Main Mode is the normal game which you play as soon as you start Idle Miner Tycoon featuring the Main Continents.
Elemental Mode can be unlocked once you have collected 15 Prestige Stars on the Main Continents. In this mode, you move to an elemental version of the World Map and progress through the Elemental Mines on the Elemental Continents.
Overview[]
Each Continent in the Elemental Mode has an Element assigned to it, and your Super Managers also have at least one associated Element. If you pair the Element of the mine with a Super Manager of a matching Element, their effectiveness will increase. If it does not match or is a bad match, then their effectiveness will be lessened.
For example, Super Manager "Aurora" has the "Frost" Element and is assigned in a mine on the Frost Continent. Each Element increases or decreases the effectiveness of the Super Manager in their current Mine. Aurora will therefore be more effective than normal in a Frost Continent Mine, but less effective in a Nature Continent Mine. This system is called Elemental Affinity.
More information on the Super Managers’ Elements is shown in the Super Managers' HQ on the World Map. You can swap between the two modes at any time at the top of the map.
Rewards[]
Elemental Mines are separate from the Mines on the Main Continents, and they give different rewards for Prestige, such as Essences. They are then used to craft additional Fragments for the Super Managers that you already have. Crafted Fragments can be used to increase the rank of your Super Managers.
