Essence Inventory in Super Manager HQ
Essences are a Currency that was introduced with the Elemental Mode. Playing and prestiging the Elemental Mines rewards Essences. They can be used for Fragment Crafting in the overview panel of any Super Manager.
Overview[]
Essences are used to craft additional Fragments for the Super Managers that you already have. You can use Essences after unlocking Elemental Mode. If you collected Essences before unlocking Elemental Mode, they will be waiting for you.
In the Super Manager HQ on the world map, you can find the Essences you currently have as well as your Pouches. Open the Inventory via the "Essences" button in the top-left of the Super Managers menu.
Each Essence is related to either an Element (e.g. Nature Essence) or a Rarity (e.g. Epic Essence). Depending on the Super Manager and their rarity, you will need different kinds and amounts of Essences to craft that Super Manager's Fragments.
Where to get Essences[]
You will receive Essences primarily from prestiging your Elemental Mines. You can also get them from opening Pouches of various sizes. Each type of Pouch contains a selection of Elemental and even Rarity Essences (bigger Pouches have guaranteed Rarity Essence payouts). Pouches can be acquired from recurring Events and offers in the Shop.
Elemental Essences and Rarity Essences[]
There are 8 different kinds of Elemental Essences corresponding to the 8 Elements of the Elemental Mode (Nature Essence, Frost Essence...). They are used to craft Fragments of Super Managers you have already unlocked. Each Super Manager has an individual Fragment Crafting recipe and the Essence costs increase with every Rank. But to craft Fragments for Epic and Legendary Super Managers you need Rarity Essences, namely Epic Essence and Legendary Essence respectively. While you may need dozens of Elemental Essences to craft an Epic or Legendary Fragment, you will only ever need one Rarity Essence Fragment.
For example, crafting a Fragment for the Epic Super Manager Aurora at Rank 0 requires 15 Frost Essences and 1 Epic Essence. Crafting a Fragment for her at Rank 1 increases the Elemental Essence cost: 10 Frost Essences, 6 Nature Essences and 1 Epic Essence. Crafting a Fragment for her at Rank 4 requires even more: 8 Frost Essences, 5 Nature Essences, 6 Light Essences and 1 Epic Essence. After Aurora reaches the maximum Rank 5 it is no longer possible to craft Fragments for her (as they could not be used to rank her up).
Crafting with Essences[]
On the info panel of an unlocked Super Manager, you will be able to tap on “Rank Up” and then enter the Essences Crafting menu. Here you can:
- See how many Essences you need to craft a Fragment
- See which kinds of Essences you need to craft a Fragment
- Check the Essences required to craft a Fragment for each Rank
- Craft one or more Fragments for a specific Super Manager
