Research can affect your gameplay by making more income in mines, prestige cost reduction, rock barriers costing less to unlock, and rock barriers taking less time to clear out. Types of research points[]

There are 6 types of research points, grass research points, ice research points, fire research points, dawn research points, dusk research points, and ancient research points.

Grass research points[]

These are used for grass research, it is used to make more income in mines.

Ice research points[]

These are used for ice research, it is used to make rock barriers cost less, less time, and cost reduction on prestige.

Fire research points[]

These are used for fire research, it is used to increase walking speed boost of elevator/warehouse managers, hiring new managers costing less, loading speed of the elevator/warehouse stronger, and effects of managers lasting longer.

Dawn research points[]

These are used for dawn research, it is used to get more income in Mainland Mines, hiring Super Managers costing less, leveling/promoting a super managers costing less, and rock barriers in Mainland Mines having less time to unlock.

Dusk research points[]

These are used for dusk research, it is used to make miners have more capacity, elevator/warehouse managers loading faster, and increase elevator/warehouse manager's speed.

Ancient research points[]

These are used for ancient research, it is used to make continents make more income, upgrades on mine shafts on specific continents costing less, and getting more mainland gems.

Underwater research points[]

These are used for underwater research, it is used to make continents make more income, upgrades costing less on selected mines, increased Gem rewards, lower Gem costs and Impossible Mine upgrades
